Hello. I just received a call from a guy at a company called LV Suppoprt in Dayton Ohio saying his company does Microsoft OS support and that my computer is reported as having a problem. He instructed me to the run window and had me type "event vwr ". He had me open up applications (on the left side) and look for warnings. He said I didn't respond to the warnings and that is why he called. He then instructed me to type "www.ammyy.com" in the run window. At that time I told him I was too busy to do this right now. He gave me a phone number and asked me to call him Monday (4/8/2013) to cintinue. Never heard of this before. Any Ideas or does this sound legitimate?

    Thanks for any help

Hi dutch. There really isn't anything you can do. Just hang up on them and don't pay any attention to what they are trying to sell you. Those people were trying to scam you into paying money for their services.

Hang him by the neck until dead.

(Your phone company should be able to track his location).

    Thanking you in advance,

Keep him on the phone and ask him what to do. Everything he tells you to do, tell him it don't work. The longer YOU have him, the less chance I have at him calling me. :D
