Updated to 20.0 from within the program itself.

    Hello Mr. Bill,

Is there something wrong with the 20.0 update? It's asking to update and I want to be sure before I do!

No there isn't. Go ahead and update it. Haven't heard anybody complaining about anything so far.

    WHY?
Don't tell me that there could be a bug in it. No different when they come out with x.02

Never had a problem before when the next update comes when it is offered by the FF program itself. On all the different Boards that I am on, you are the first one I have heard say this.

Because FF has a history of unsolved bugs in major releases, usually things I need, such as certain functionality regarding html or script processing. The .01 and .02 releases usually handle these small quirks. The .01 and .02 releases always come rather quickly after the major releases. When I am doping Web development I don't want the browser to be a source of a problem, I want to focus upon code and its workability.

If folks are really interested in letting FF work out the bugs before you upgrade, you could always try out Firefox ESR (extended support release). The current ESR is version 17; it will last for a year or so, and then get upgraded to version 24. The ESRs get security updates pretty much as soon as the newest version does, so you don't have to worry about waiting a few weeks before the dot-release to 20.1 or 20.2. But security fixes are the only updates to any given ESR. Another advantage is that new features can get worked out by the FF devs for months until you get them in the upgrade to 24.
