Resolved Arrow turns to Egg timer, & keyboard gone American

When clicking on scroll bar the arrow turns to egg timer and we have to wait some seconds to be able to scroll up or down, and the keyboard has reverted to American, The @ is on the " key, how do we change this back please. This is a computer we have just re-hashed by formatting drive and re-installing Windows XP

 

Hi, I can only suggest > Control Panel > Regional & Language > check your Location (United Kingdom) and > Customize (England-United Kingdom) and see if that helps. Neil.

Update on this. Problem seemed to have solved itself, may have been when doing a re-start.but it's ticking over ok now.
