IE9 will not load Windows.bbs.com web page, it only shows the ad at the top, the rest of the page is blank. I am using Foxfire to get to this forum. I haven't added any software recently.

Some pages load and some do not. It just started failing in the last week. Could there have been an Windows upgrade that caused it? If I use Foxfire, they all load correctly.

    I'm running Windows 7 64 bit.

How to Reset Internet Explorer 9 settings

    --

Could be, but if it was, there would be millions of people around the globe complaining about it.

Foxfire is the bioluminescence created by some species of fungi present in decaying wood.

Firefox is a web browser, (like Internet Explorer).

Thank you SpywareDr(?) for the help in correctly identifying Mozilla's browser, it's obvious from your comments that, unlike millions of people, you have never made a typo!

Arie, I thought this forum was intended to help members, not critcise their novice questions?

I don't think he was criticizing you. You would be surprised what a typo of a word will do. Make people go crazy looking for answers to the wrong word in a question. Been there, done that, and will probably see people do it again.

I mentioned FireFox to show that I was successful in using another browser to access this website in an attempt to narrow down the cause of the problem.

Without resetting IE9's settings I found that I have both the 32 bit and the 64 bit version on my pc. I was unknowingly using the 32 bit version. I tried the 64 bit version and now am successful in accessing this site and others that were not loading with the 32 bit version although they have in the past. The only problem that I have now is with Norton Internet Security working properly on the 64 bit version.

    1) I frequently make mistakes. One of the most recent was unintentionally hurting your feelings, and for that I apologize.

    2) I wasn't going to way a word . . . until you repeated the error.

    3) IMHO, "Foxfire" instead of "Firefox" is bit more than a simple typo. "Manger" instead of "Manager" and "Pubic" instead of "Public" are typos.
