Time shift

    Time shown in bottom right is wrong when computer starts up, it corrects itself when online?
    Renewed Mother board battery, did not sort the problem.

    What do you mean by "renewed "? Did you "replace" it with a new battery?

    And after you installed the [hopefully] new battery, did you immediately, first thing, boot into the BIOS Setup Menu, set date and time, then "Save and Exit" (not just exit) to boot normally?

    If the data and time do not stick after the "Save and Exit ", make sure the CMOS reset jumper (if your motherboard has one) is not in the wrong position (see your owner's manual).

    Reply to both, Replaced battery with New, Did not check CMOS/BIOS setting just restarted PC and updated date and time via control panel.What should I have done? please.

    Set the time/date in BIOS

    Then make sure you select "Save and Exit" to boot normally.
