    Greetings,
After upgrading to Windows 8 (which I love) I can get my Motorola S305 stereo headphones (Bluetooth) to pair but they then go offline and will not come on again. Have tried to get a response from Motorola with no success and Broadcom who just refer me to Motorola. Worked fine in Windows 7 and can pair to my cell phone with success.
    Any assistance appreciated.
    Stephen

    Hiya,

I have no idea where to post this, so I'll just put it at the bottom of the thread.

I was just searching on Google to find out how to get my S305 to work. I was disappointed to find out that all of the posts are duplicates of this one and they all say that the headset isn't compatible. SO I gave up. But, for some reason, I did manage to get it to work and it was pretty easy, almost a fluke. But I am listening to music w/ foobar2000 right now so it does work. Here's what happened.

I got to the same point in the install where everything was finished and the S305 headset is listed as offline. Having already paired the headset to my TF700 tablet earlier I decided to reconnect via bluetooth to the tablet. I turned the headset off and to try to reconnect to the tablet. In the process of doing so, the headset fully connected to the laptop and I heard the two tone connect chime.

My guess is that the tablet may cause the headset to "finish" the pairing. Strangely, the tablet registers the headset as: Connected (no media). But I just turned the BT off on the tablet to be safe while the S305 is connected to the laptop.

    God bless and Happy listening!
