Yesterday I checked Adobe's page to update to flash 11.4.402.278 on my notebook (Vista HP x86). I could download the installers alright (IE & Non-IE) but they would not run. I have had problems running Adobe flash installers on a Toshiba laptop (same OS) in the past. Eventually I successfully downloaded both flash installers from FileHippo. I ran the installers for my Win 7 x64 desktop successfully from Adobe's page. I have never had any problems with running the installers from FileHippo.com on any computer.

Has anyone else had problems downloading or running flash plug-ins from Adobe's download page?

    BTW I hate flash ... :(

Since you asked: No. Never had that problem. I hate Adobe software too (bloatware).

I've never had this problem on my desktop PC. Thank god for FileHippo I say. I really have no idea why I have had strange problems with the Adobe page for flash installation on other machines. I have had no problem downloading or running the plug-in from any other page.

    I don't even use their PDF Reader. I prefer Tracker's PDF-XC
