I'm having serious login problems at their site. I couldn't get in with my old account (which I haven't used for a couple or so years) & it won't now recognise a new account I've made.

Has anyone else had any similar problems?:(

Thanks for the reply. Yes, & I could log-in for the first time. It was when I went back to log-in again that I kept getting the page below in attached thumbnail.

I even found my old username & password out previously (before making a new account) & I got the page you see below.

When I tried the 'Have you forgotten your password?' it denied that my original username & email address even existed!

I've tried different browsers with no success. I'm guessing that this is a problem at their end. They may have deleted my old account as I have not used it for probably about two years at the least. But that shouldn't have affected a new account with a new username & password. Should it?

In their original email containing the activation link, it states, in part:

So, the only alternative is to reset your password on OOoForum.org's "Send me a new password" page.

Well, that's what I tried. It just doesn't work.

OK thanks for the link, I'll look into it. The bizarre thing is that I can now access the site in Firefox on my notebook, but I can't in any other browser. This must be a glitch at their end.

EDIT: I have tried logging in on three other computers (two weren't even mine), including my 64 bit desktop, to no avail. This must be some glitch at their end.

I don't believe it has anything to do with the OOoForum.org site. Just finished logging in eight separate times using the following two different Desktop setups:
    1. Windows XP Professional 32-bit (with ALL updates):
      • Internet Explorer 8.0.6001.18702
      • Firefox 15.0
      • Google Chrome 21.0.1180.89 m
      • Seamonkey 2.12
    2. Windows 7 Ultimate 64-bit (with ALL updates):
      • Internet Explorer 9.0.8112.16421 Update Version 9.0.9
      • Firefox 15.0
      • Google Chrome 21.0.1180.89 m
      • Seamonkey 2.12
I also then tried it on a Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 with 4G running Android 3.2, and a BlackBerry 9900 (4G) smartphone.

In all 10 instances, I had absolutely no problem logging in (nor out).

OK, thanks for the extensive checking, I appreciate the effort you've put in. My theory is that it could be a problem with my OO accounts. I haven't used the forum for quite a long time. I have several email accounts, some fairly recent, so I had either used my Yahoo! or Google email (oldest email accounts) to originally log in years ago. This time around, when I decided to make a new account, I couldn't remember which so I tried both. I was informed that the username didn't match the email address on both times. Maybe I have inadvertently triggered some anti-spamming software that is blocking my other computers/browsers (it must recognise my IP address I should imagine).

I'm pretty sure Firefox on my notebook lets me into the site, I'll have to discuss this with their mods. I'll keep you appraised. Thanks again for your systematic checking. :)
