OK all, after a couple unexpected delays, it's time to get back to sharing folders. Tony, since I had to move the router back to where it was, I followed your instructions and this time everything is working. Well, except the file sharing.

I followed Arie's instructions and I can see the other computer under Network. When I click on the other system, I get a Windows Security box asking for my Network Password. It wants my Username and Password. Not a clue what they are. Any thoughts? Thanks.

Try turning password protected sharing off on both computers and see if that makes a difference after rebooting both pcs.

These are the username and password used to logon to the computer. The User account name & its password.

To use password protected sharing you must allow all users on other computers to access specific folders on each computer.

Which is why I'm suggesting turning password protected sharing off to see if files can then be shared. Once files can be shared, then password protection and user logons can be sorted out so that password protection can be turned on again.

dnmacleod - Thanks for the suggestion. I thought I would give the username/password another try before changing a setting.

TonyT - OK, that's what I thought it was. I tried that last night and no go. I tried again this morning and it worked. I don't know, maybe I miss typed it last night. Any ways, the folders are seen and can be accessed now.

Thanks for all your help, everyone. I will mark this thread resolved and, hopefully, no other problems will pop up.
