Didn't even know it existed. I just downloaded and will ride it around the net for for a while before adding any comments, if any. Thanks for the heads up. I am a fish for goodies, particularly new ones.

OK, it's a new one for me as well. I have noticed that I can't run this BBC video (which works in IE 9 64 bit & Firefox 32 bit), but flash works fine in YouTube & BBC iPlayer.

Went to link clicked on the video was told I needed wmpplugin. Downloaded the manual install of theplugin, which apparently, I had already but there was an option for repair so I did. This made no difference. A quick google search indicated that 64 bit wmp plugin is not possible. This may be old information but exploring that will have to wait. The short of this is if you notice, once you click on the video there is also an option to "launch in stand alone player ". This opened wmp and played video. You may wish to give that a go or seek further info on 64bit compatibility on wmp plugin.

OK, thanks. The same thing happened to me & I was thinking along the same lines about the 'stand alone player'. Thanks for jogging my memory about it. I must say that I am quite impressed with Waterfox. As far as I can tell ALL of my extensions are working.

I wasted some time on this, not realizing that Waterfox was, only, for 64-bit systems. It, surely, was not clear, and I did not catch the drift from the other posts.

I am pretty sure it states this quite clearly on their page:

Waterfox The fastest 64-Bit variant of Firefox!

    System Requirements

    Microsoft Windows 7 x64
    Microsoft Windows Vista x64

It's mentioned three times on the download page, including up on the Title bar:

Waterfox 10.0.2 in the pipeline, minor problems at Sourceforge I believe.

AFAIK no one has managed to auto update even if they have utilised this tweak.

Apparently the auto-updater is a tad sporadic & some people can be updated & some have had to download the installer. On my Wx the throbber on the updating pop-up (Menu - Help - About Waterfox) seems to work intermittently also. When I first downloaded it was fine, then it disappeared for a few days, came back yesterday evening, only to go again today!
