Try run chkdsk /f. It might just do the trick.

Have you had a recent infection? The reason I ask is that some of the recent, bogus antispyware programs have started to hide documents, program files and desktop icons. It’s possible that the bogus antimalware has hidden the folders. Type these commands to reset the attribute (the capitals are for clarity only, but note the spaces in the commands):

Open a Run window (Windows Logo key+R), type CMD and press Enter.
Type D: and press Enter (point to your D drive).
Type ATTRIB "“H /S /D and press Enter (this may take some time).
    Type EXIT and press Enter.

You need to be a member of Administrator group to be able to run chkdsk.

Right click on Command Prompt & click Run as Administrator. Enter your administrator password. Now run the command chkdsk d: /f.

Then login to Administrator account & run chkdsk from there.

If yours is the only account created in Win7 Home Premium, it would be Administrator by default.

Double click Computer, click on D: drive, right click, choose properties,Tools,Check Now,Start.

Search for a file within that folder. You may have changed the folder's name inadvertantly.
