I believe you answered this before, but couldn't find in the posted threads.

I've had major configuration changes to my laptop, and everytime a new virus slips through and I am forced to reinstall my perfectly legal copy of Windows Vista, I always have to reinstall again and again for my key will not activate it under any rules Windows gives, I've had this computer 3 weeks since after Vista hit the shelves.

I have a legal copy of Windows. Windows gets viruses, Windows needs to be reinstalled, never had this issue with Millenium, 2000, 98 SE, 95, or 3.1?

Why won't Microsoft change the initial hardware configuration on file so my legal copy of Windows stays legal?

No idea about that, but why do you attract so many viruses ? Which anti virus do you use ?
