Shoud I remove the battery from my laptop

I bought battery for my laptop and it came with these instructions that I'm sure applies to all batteries, not just this one. I just want to give everyone a heads-up that when you drive nails through your laptop, you should remove the battery.

See fourth item under cautions.

 

Don't forget to get a thermometer and check it's temp before you charge it also. Don't know if you should use an oral or rectal one...

 

I keep forgetting how to tell an oral from a rectal thermometer.

Someone said you can always tell by the taste.
