I have a Lenovo ThinkCenter with an i5 processor and 3 GHz of RAM, Win 7 Pro, updated and running quite well other than, on the odd occasion it goes into the recovery partition at start up, just as though I had pressed F11.

If I shut it down it starts normally.

Any thoughts as to why it might do this?

    Thanks

    3Ghz of RAM? ;)

Have you any other problems (such as loss of system time)?

Have you tried another keyboard (unlikely but perhaps f11 is faulty)?

Please confirm the problem system is the same as the one in your system details (some things don't add up).

    D'oh... senior moment:eek:

Actually, it's a client's computer, not mine and thanks, I have to update my system details too.

No other problems, it runs like a peach. I ran it all weekend and restarted it about 100 times with no problem. As a preemptive move, I changed the mouse and keyboard this morning so we shall see what happens.

I'll mark this as solved... or the moment
