Resolved Removing windows 7 desktop gadgets

    I have an Avast gadget on my desktop which I want to lose!

    If i restore gsdgets through control panel I am then able to right click it and uninstall it and it disapears ok

    However when I restart the PC it pops up again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Any ideas how to lose it once and for all. I do use Avast! so don't want to delete the virus softrware completely, just the gadget?
