    Windows 7 system requirements

    Note: Multi Processor is not the same as Multi Core my dual core processor also shows up twice in device manager. Is it possible you're just confusing the terminology?

    In the early days the information was that Home Premium would support 2 physical CPU's. Here's the information that lays that to rest:

    Windows 7 system requirements

    Now, most home users will never have multiple CPU's, but rather a multi-core CPU.

    wildfire, Arie...I did a bad, I confused multi-core with multi-processor. I have two cores, one processor. Thanks for straightening me out.

    Sidebar to Arie: that "daily system restore" script you wrote for me a few months ago works like a charm, it's saved me several times. I owe you a beer.
