I am really ******* up with this "new" samsung motherboard after a few months. Fisrtly is bios keep resetting, which is solved by buying a CMOS battery.

Secondly is USB host problem which locks up my computer if I've inserted something like pendrive or camera cable.

Thirdly, the computer cant detect audio devices anymore!! A few days ago, windows keep detecting and installing audio device driver and multimedia audio controller. Now when I opened WMP to listen the song, an error occurred says that cant detect audio device. When I checked Device Manager, A big yellow question mark is on the audio device as I've inserted the cable into the CPU. I tried to let the wizard auto search driver but no luck. Then I found the driver installation software but it says audio device is not found. The audio device neither can be installed automatically nor manually. And I guarantee that the speaker itself is WORKING PROPERLY.

    Any solution for this problem??

Sorry, can't help you. I'd never buy anything other than high-quality ASUS motherboards. You can save a few $$ and then end up with these frustrations. Guess what my preference is?

I am not the one who decide wanted to buy this samsung motherboard, is the warehouse workers who took this type of **** motherboard and install themselves. If for me I'll choose the same Acer motherboard instead ;)

When you replace a motherboard, you need to run a Windows repair reinstallation
How to replace the motherboard on a computer that is running Windows Server 2003, Windows XP, or Windows 2000

You need to uninstall software programs for hardware like audio, graphics, etc. The Acer motherboard probably had an audio "manager ", you should uninstall that/them from Control Panel -> Add or Remove Programs.

A drivers and software disk should have been supplied with the motherboard (it sounds like you can't find them for download). Can you find the drivers disk? You need to at least install the correct chipset drivers, there are many chipsets, like Intel, nVidia, VIA, SIS, etc. They should include the correct USB Controller drivers, but they may have a separate installer. After that the audio can be installed, but they will rely on a good set of chipset drivers.

Which solution? Disabling the on-board sound? If you have a separate sound card installed you should do that. Nothing to be scared off, you can always reverse it.

It's just a setting in your BIOS.
