unwelcome mail

How can I block unwelcome email that changes it's domain every other day. This software-innovations is sending out material thatis deeply offensive and embarasing to both family and myself. This is a spam too far, can anyone help ?

You haven't said what email service you use but this is the instruction for Windows Mail.
There are third party software programs that promise to block unwanted mail but I have had no use of these and would therefore not know what to recommend. Other members may be able to add to this advise but it would help if we new what email service you use.

I saw your earlier post where Arie directed you here...

A couple of questions,

How do you collect your email browser (Firefox/IE etc) or a dedicated email program?

How do you recognise that the email is from "software-innovations ", is this in the subject or address of sender etc.

To be honest there is little you can do to stop these emails but quite a lot you can do to automatically delete them. If you answer the questions above I'll do my best to assist.

MailWasher is a paid program which is also very good. Voila!

 

Thanks for your time. I use IE8 which scans the mail before I open it. all of the unwanted mail comes with the prefix software_innovations@###### hope this helps.

Rob, if you have trouble setting up Thunderbird or it's just too much for your needs, http://www.mailwasher.net/ is free. Their "pro" version is paid. It's easy to set up and has great spam blocking.
