    Hi folks,

    Win7 64bit

    CPU Meter is running displaying total CPU and RAM consumption. However this is a dual core box. I expect showing the consumption of each core. Any free System monitor can be download and is free to use? I need to monitor network performance as well. TIA

    Not sure what you mean by CPU Meter - Task Manager will show you core activity as will Resource Monitor > CPU which also shows Network usage - screenshots.

    You will not see a RAM usage for each core - RAM is used by Windows.

    It will, but you may have to select it via View > CPU History > One Graph Per CPU.

    Solved

    Hi PeteC and Arie,

    Thanks for your advice. I got it.

    Start -> search "Task Manager" -> "View running process with Task Manager" -> Performance

    "CPU Usage History" and "Physical Memory Usage History" displayed

    -> Resouce Monitor ...

    On the right-hand colume it displays;
    CPU - Total 100%
    Service CPU Usage 100%
    CPU 0 100%
    CPU 1 100%
    etc.

    -> Network

    On the right-hand colume it displays;
    Network 10 Kbps
    TCP Connections
    Local Area Connection.

    Hi satimis. You can also try running Process Explorer. This program will show you in more detail what processes are running on your system as well as monitor your system performance in more depth than the Windows Task Manager.

    Hi Evan,

    I tested it. Thanks. Wonderful it displays a complete list of all running process, CPU consumption, resource, etc. It looks similar to the "top" command on Unix/Linux.
