I simply want to copy all of mail folders under a certain folder in outlook express to a folder on my Server. I have searched all over the internet and there is nothing that tells how to do this. I can copy all of the emails inside the folder just fine but windows will not allow me to copy the folders with the emails inside of them. Recreating all of the folders manually would take days.

    Thanks

    Welcome to WindowsBBS :)

Where are you trying to copy the folders from - from within Outlook Express? You can't do that.

Search for *.dbx - include hidden files and folders. These are the 'folders' containing your emails and can be copied anywhere.

If I can copy the emails, why can't I copy the folders that contain the emails? and there is no .dbx file i have searched the entire drive.

Did you include Hidden files & Folders in your search - the *.dbx files are hidden. The location of the Message Store is shown under Tools > Options > Maintenance - Store Folder.

    The default is .....

Are you using OUTLOOK or OUTLOOK EXPRESS? Outlook stores everything in a PST file which you cannot dissect. O.E. stores messages in separate folders.
