I was changing the color of my messages in my inbox and kept getting a message that said "AAWNotScannedRule ". I'm told this could be related to Lavasoft and a virus. Does anyone have any ideas about this? If so, please shed some light on it for me. Thank you.

    Hi Markala,

I never said you were infected. Although this is always a possibility, in this case, I meant only to point out that the warning you were given was from a setting in lavasoft that handles how your email is scanned. Either, the rule is from lavasoft or outlook itself. Not knowing anything about lavasoft, any longer, I suggested this forum for any questions or explanations that you may need.

I had hoped that a member, who may be using Lavasoft would share that knowledge. It looks like that combo is taking longer than you or I was expecting.

Perhaps a post in the Lavasoft forum would also be helpful:

    :)

    Just curious.....
Are you the sole user owner of this computer? You don't recall ever making or setting a rule, you may possibly have named "not scanned "?

    Thank you

Thank you goddez1, I totally misunderstood. I'll post it on the Lavasoft forum. And I should delete the original post and do a new one in the General Security forum. Do you happen to know if there is a way to delete my post?

I am the only user of this computer and I checked the rules, there is only one rule and it's about categories that Microsoft puts in there by default.

    Hello again,

There is no need to clear this post and create another. This post, as it stands, is informative and understandable. Mistakes and misunderstandings happen on a daily basis. No big deal. We all do this. :)

Should you really be insistent upon this, you need to send a request to a moderator, via email. They have sole post clear/removal/deletion power.
