Hi Applez, have you tried updating the Drivers. I had trouble about 5 years ago and going into the Router Mfg website - they had an update pack which fixed the problem. Cheers Neil.:D

We could use a little more information. Like model and manufacturer of the router.

    Hi Apples,
Hope all is well and i believe that this problem is not sorted out yet.
I have looked at other pple's suggestion and think that if you have updated the firmware that would be got from your router's manufacture website, you need to set it up afresh.
I hope you have information for your internet settings that were given to you by your ISP so that you can input them as soon as you reset the router.
I suggest when doing basic configuration on the router after a reset, connect the router directly on a PC then get its ip address and do the config.
let me know what you have decided?

    Kind regards,
    Xrozz

2 things I have had happen to me with previous routers:
1: Router has lost its marbles and you need to do a factory reset, then load either the same firmware or newest if available. This will usually do the trick.
2: component fatigue, for this there is no fix that I know of except a new router.

components going bad is uncommon but does happen, the signs of that are usually lockups and resets and will not be fixed by reloading/resetting, and if you are moving lots of traffic through it this will happen more often.
