    Hey everyone...

Im having difficulties copying pictures from my computer to my USB drive (for use with a digital photo frame)

I have around 400 photos that are a mixture of scanned and digital photos and when i try to copy them i get an error that says 'the directory or file cannot be created' and another is 'would you like to copy this file without it's properties' for no reason i can understand.

    Can anyone help?

Lack of space? How large is the USB drive? How much free space?

From NTFS to FAT maybe (I'm not a vista user and not familiar with this error but the wording could indicate this problem).

Try creating a folder, say My Docs, on the root of the USB drive then one named named Pictures within that folder. Then copy your pictures into the Pictures folder. There is something about file limitation on USB drives that creating a folder on root of the drive overcomes.
