When you're installing, uninstalling trusted programs like Java, you can safely OK Comodo's warnings. Better yet, you can right click on Comodo icon, click "Open" and click on "Switch to installation mode ".

I ticked them all as you listed, and hit fix.
There's no change?

Oh, I'm sorry. You posted two logs and I got confused :)
All cool :)

Your computer is clean :)

1. Turn off System Restore:

- Windows XP:
1. Click Start.
2. Right-click the My Computer icon, and then click Properties.
3. Click the System Restore tab.
4. Check "Turn off System Restore ".
5. Click Apply.
6. When turning off System Restore, the existing restore points will be deleted. Click Yes to do this.
7. Click OK.
- Windows Vista:
1. Click Start.
2. Right-click the Computer icon, and then click Properties.
3. Click on System Protection under the Tasks column on the left side
4. Click on Continue on the "User Account Control" window that pops up
5. Under the System Protection tab, find Available Disks
6. Uncheck the box for any drive you wish to disable system restore on (in most cases, drive "C: ")
7. When turning off System Restore, the existing restore points will be deleted. Click "Turn System Restore Off" on the popup window to do this.
8. Click OK

2. Restart computer.

3. Turn System Restore on.

4. Make sure, Windows Updates are current.

5. If any Trojan was listed among your infection(s), make sure, you change all of your on-line important passwords (bank account(s), secured web sites, etc.) immediately!

6. Download, and install WOT (Web OF Trust): http://www.mywot.com/. It'll warn you (in most cases) about dangerous web sites.

7. Run defrag at your convenience.

8. Read How did I get infected?, With steps so it does not happen again!: http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/topic2520.html

9. Please, let me know, how is your computer doing.

I think I forgot to restart.
The restart was really slow. Had to attempt shutdown/restart 2x before it would go, then Windows loaded the slowest I've ever seen on this machine.

I have auto updates turned off, as per another thread. Pls advise.
And no longer have IE, so how do I update (I believe MS won't do it w/ FF).

Whose advice was it? Not a good idea.
Surely, you have IE. It can't be removed.

Restart was normal (much faster) this time. I'm on XP.

5. If any Trojan was listed among your infection(s), make sure, you change all of your on-line important passwords (bank account(s), secured web sites, etc.) immediately!
How would I know this?
This is from my prior post:
Avira ran last night and found these objects: A0035048.exe / A0035049.exe / A0035051.exe and A0035051.dll AND these detections: TR/Trash.Gen (3 of these assoc w/ the 3 .exe files and TR/DropSoftomat.An assoc w/ the .dll file

You're fine here.

As for your other question, it only means your AV program is working :)

Deleted it. It no longer shows in Add/Rmove or Revo.
I'll download it again.

I'll eat a nice large slice of Humble Pie (great band) about now. When I checked on updates through Win Security Center IE8 popped right up. Go figure.
Can you tell me how this could be? I mean being it's not showing on Add/Remove.

Also, Sometimes ads still pop up on Yahoo email. Unfortunately I don't know what adblocker I'm using. Can you direct me to find out?

But a good possibility.
It doesn't show on Add/Remove. That one I'm positive of.
