ARS floppy

    Just wondering if there was a fix for ARS request for a floppy disk? Do not have any and would lke to run a good backup. Also looking for some freeware backup utilities. Appreciate any help out there.

    I'm going to assume you meant ASR ;)

    This MS Knowledgebase article may help.

    Regarding free backup software, some drive manufacturers allow cut down versions of Acronis etc which work on their drives. EG I use WD Acronis True Image.

    Have a look at your HD manufacturers website you may find similar offers.

    Thanks Wildfire for the tip, i'll try it as soon as I locate a floppy. I found a drive, installed it and it might work. I'll keep you posted.:eek:
