    Hi,
    Windows XP sp3
When I started the PC today (cold boot) the following "error report request "
    occured:
    Error: Q Signoff\BD3E69.cab

    winword.exe.p1ml0.dmp
    winword.exe.p1ml0.cvr
    12401890.od
    version.txt

    Error details
Microsoft Office Word had an unexpected error. It was not critical so you were not interrupted when the problem occurred
    error signature
    EventType : office12asserttimer P1 : p1ml P2 : 12.0.6425.0 P3 : 1
    P4 : 0

I could not print details and looking through the following:
    documents and settings ... \owner\application data\local settings\PCHealth\error report\qsignoff\bd3e69.cab
    tells me nothing.

(FWIW I noticed nothing during the alleged time of the event)

    Thanks in advance
P.S. how does one print screen? I thought it was "alt print screen" or "ctrl print screen "

In answer to your print screen it's Shift then Press Print Screen.
Then you can open Paint and Paste the Screen or Open Microsoft Word and Paste the Screen.
    -----------------------------------------------------------------

Also - have you done any updates lately to Microsoft Office ?

    Hi tanya,

    Has the error re-occurred?

To print screen press the print screen / prtsc Key then open Paint and paste into that, you can then print the entire screen. To only copy the active window press Alt+PrtSc and again paste into Paint.

    Thanks for replying

I have not done any that I was aware of. (it's automatic)
Where can I find any log of updates?

    Thanks for the reply
No the error has not re-occured and I did not even notice it to begin with.

    Thanks again sp3851,
The last updates were on 12/09/09 (including one for MS Office).

I had no problems whatsoever with Word and would never have known had it not been for MS's request that I send an error report.

You gave me a very helpful link and I appreciate it.

    Tanya
