Can't turn auto run on

Hi all. I need the auto run feature turned on for now. I went to this site:
http://support.microsoft.com/kb/330135 but an issue came up and I'm not sure how to handle it.

Under Resolution Step 2 I followed the instruction but I found that I had no Autorun folder. I can't finish the instructions. Any ideas? Thanks.

I tried autorun.fix, rebooted, no effect. Then I tried the autoplay repair wizard, rebooted, no effect.

Is there a way I can input the folder that Microsoft used in their instructions without harming the registry? I'm pretty good at instructions since I'm married.

 

I searched this forum and found the fix. I tried to go back and find the thread but haven't found it yet. I wanted to post it here. I'll keep looking for it tho. Thanks.
