Resolved Installing Office 2007 SP2 on Windows 7

    I want to download the Microsoft Office 2007 Service Pack 2 for a friend running Windows 7 who does not have internet access.

    However, the Microsoft website states that

    System Requirements


    • Supported Operating Systems: Windows Server 2003 Service Pack 2; Windows Server 2008; Windows Vista Service Pack 1; Windows XP Service Pack 3
    So where can I obtain the Windows 7 version?

    That version will run on Windows 7 - Windows Update installed it after I had installed Office 2007 on Win 7 Pro x64.

    I guess that KB is yet to be updated - if anything runs on Vista it will almost certainly run on 7.
