XP Pro System Information Tool will not display all information

I've trying to resolve this problem for a while.

I have Bit Defender Internet Security 2008, install and running all the time, along with Malwarebytes full version and Ad Aware Anniversary Edition they are all updated and I have ran scans on my system they come back clean.

I’m using MS Office Enterprise Edition and it may have caused this problem, through a MS update in July, for some reason I started to get DCOM Event Error 10024 in Event Viewer, The machine wide group policy Access Limits security descriptor is invalid. The security descriptor is defined as an invalid Security Descriptor Definitions Language (SDDL) string. The requested action was therefore not performed. Please contact your administrator to get the security descriptor corrected in the Group Policy settings. I finally found out that, From a newsgroup post: "The problem was in the "DCOM: Machine Access Restrictions" and "DCOM: Machine Launch Restrictions ". These had been modified and not even the Admins could change them back through gpedit.msc. It caused all sorts of problems. I tried all the solutions from the web to no result. After a lot of research I found the registry settings that alter this. They are:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\windows NT\dcom\machineaccessrestriction
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\windows NT\dcom\machinelaunchrestriction

These 2 keys should not be there by default so on a PC they can be deleted.
After I deleted the 2 key DCOM errors went away.

My msinfo got messed up at this time also. And in my Registry I found this

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Shared Tools\MSInfo
ab Default REG_SZ (value not set)
    ab Path REG_SZ C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\MSInfo\MSInfo32.exe
I wonder if permissions is causing the problem?

But I have found out that if I run more than 1 instance of Msinfo32 or multiple instances at the same time it will display all information but signed drivers category. I would include screen shots, but don't see any place for attachments, does anyone have a idea what would cause this weird behavior or how to fix?

I've already tried MS hotfix kb/813907, and cd \Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\Msinfo <Enter>, The prompt will change and you are now in the Msinfo folder. Now - msinfo32 /categories +all -loadedmodule <Enter>
    Didn't change anything.

Using Windows Explorer, browse to the folder C:\Program Files\Common Files\Microsoft Shared\MSInfo\ and right-click on IEFILES5.INF and select Install. That may help or may not. It's chicken soup if no help.

Try Dial-A-Fix. It has a repair procedure for that. When you run the program, tag the box on the first page that says SSL/HTTPS/CryptSvc. Part of what that does is Driver file signature verification.

If that doesn't work, run Dial-A-Fix again and click on the green arrow on the first page. Allow a few minutes for it to complete. Verify and dismiss when asked about the time zone, etc. Non relevant.

When it finishes, check for effect. If still no joy, run Dial-A-Fix again and click on the claw hammer icon. Scroll through the options offered and see if anything sounds relevant. I've tested and run every option in that program and never had it do any system damage. Sometimes it pulls off a miracle cure. Worth a shot.

I might try that later, but I can not understand why when I run more than 1 instance of Msinfo32 or multiple instances at the same time it will display all information but signed drivers category. But if I just run one instance of Msinfo32 all I get is a blank screen in most categories.

I have installed EVEREST Home Edition(System Info Tool) and Windows System Information Tool v9.75 that resides in a folder and ran as a stand alone tool since I started having trouble with Msinfo32. They will both pick up the data that Msinfo32 doesn't and I can't understand why.
