    Hi
I am ajesh working as system administrator in an international school. We have a windows 2003 domain server and another windows server with ISA installed. 150 xp (sp2) machines connected to this network. For the past 2 years it worked perfectly. Now the problem started. I can login to the server but I am unable to browse the network. I can see the netwok name in My network places, but when I clicked on it, it shows the message unable to browse the network. I have searched through several forums but i did not get a solution. The Netbios over TCP/IP is checked. I can browse the internet. When I restart the domain server I can browse the network for around 3 minutes. After that it will show the message the specified network name could not be located.

Please help me to solve this problem. Our new academic year starter today september 1, 2009.

When you say "I can login to the server ", which server - the domain server or the ISA server?

Is the ISA server between the domain server and the network of client PCs?

Is DNS on the server set to point at the domain server's IP address?

Are you using an external domain name (e.g. a .com or .ac address) or a local domain name (e.g. schoolname.local) for the Active Directory?

    Thank Your for your response.

I can login, but i think it is logging to the local machine only not to the server. I can access the server through Remote access.

yes, the ISA server is between the domain server and the network.

yes DNS set to point to the domain server's IP.

    local domain name.

I did not add any thing new. I started using Remote access after this problem happened. I can access the domain server using Remote access.
