Windows XP Home Does Not recognize 4 GB Of Memory

    Hi Guys
    I Have Just Installed 4 GB ( 2 x 2GB) Of DDR2 PC2-6400C5 800MHz Dual Channel, On Too My Motherboard. The Problem is in windows It's Only Showing 2GB The Motherboard Manual Says its Compatible, Do i need too Change anything in the BIOS ?.I have checked but can't see anything that would make a difference, Motherboard only has 2 dimm slots any help will be great

    You won't see the full 4Gb on a 32bit OS though you would normally expect to see 3-3.5Gb, have you tried the memory sticks individually (perhaps one is faulty)?

    One memory slot may also be faulty.
