OE6 Spell checker in French

    Running XP Pro Outlook Express 6 and Office 2007.
    The spell checker in OE6 is working in French. When I go to tools, options, spelling the language is set to French (France) and no other option is given.
    The spell checker in Office 2007 is working fine.
    I would like it to work in English, any help please

    Thanks Craig downloading a third party freeware spell checker has worked, but what a con from microsoft, any language as long as its French
