Now we have a few things we can do. Let's try this one:

First right click on the msinsti.msi and select install.

no install option with right click just OPEN WITH or 7ZIP OPTIONS.

 

Okay skip that for now.

Well it looks like we've come full circle. I think the problem may not be with the installer. Not sure where to go from here, other that safemode>rename install procedure that you've previously tried.

I need to take a break from this and step away from problem for breather.

This is the second day in my attempt to quite smoking and my skin is crawling and nerves are shot. I am finding this problem extremely frustrating and the desire for a cigarette is getting stronger by the thread. See you in a bit
