I purchased this in order to speed up my web browsing, but the company will not contact me in order to set this up. Does anyone know what I need to do in order to make this work with Vista?

This is what I was told this would accomplish! It won't do that?? If not, do you know what I can buy, do or whatever to make my browsing faster? I've already done a huge amount of maintenance, ie, defrag, virus scan, all updates, start-up programs, worked with my provider, upgraded my router (DIR-655), etc.

    From .... 3D-FTP: Lightning-fast FTP Client
Is that really what you were after? It does not appear to enhance browsing speed generally, but is aimed at .....

No. Goto link I have already provided.

I don't have an answer to that [would someone please let me know if they know :D]. Short of upgrading your net connection, I don't have any sure shot idea. It also depends on the number of users you are supporting, internet applications etc. you run, whether you have a firewall with caching installed or not. Many variables - just one constant - upgrade net connection.

Looking at some previous posts, I noticed you (used to?) have a satellite connection, and tried improving that before.

I don't want to be the bearer of bad news, but if you still have a satellite connection you will have to live with the fact you'll have a mediocre experience. The latency (=delay) incurred on a Sat connection will just mean that web browsing is always going to be slow.

Oh, Gosh! Not good news! Unfortunately, I'm stuck with Hughes Net due to not having anything else available that works any better! I've purchased router booster also, but still working with Dlink to make this thing work. If anyone has any ideas on Hughes Net settings or anything, please let me know. Hughes Net standard response is, everything is fine! Yet, I can't get any speed going here. Thanks to all!
