I'm new at this so here I go. I am using windows XP to configure wireless network but when the pc is shut down it doesn't save setting. I have to go back and check windows configure again. What can I do to solve this? Thank you.

There is a manual/automatic start option for a wireless network in XP. Try going to desktop, right click My Computer, then click on "Manage ". In the left hand side of the new window, Click on "Services and Applications ". Now click on "Services ". In the new window that just opened, scroll down to "Wireless Zero Configueration ", and click on it, right click "Properties ". In the middle of the new window that opens, you will see a box that says "startup type" and probably the word "manual" showing. Click on the arrow on the right hand side and select "Automatic ". Below that is another box that says "Service status ". Click on "Start" Now, close all windows and reboot. Problem should be fixed. You may have to have a password for your secure wireless network when you logon.
