    hi all,

Can anyone tell me how can we see number of files (maximum limit ) to be opened available in windows xp, or number of file descriptors to handle a file in C++?

because fopen() funtion all C++ fails, due to "bad file number: -error no 9 "

    Many Thanks,

I would doubt it. You are better off posting this at the appropriate MSDN C++ forum.

We are not focused on programming here.
