    I’ve listed this before but here it is again:

    Below is a specimen signature in HTML format. Open Notepad and copy all the text into it then edit it with your personal details and change/omit the image and/or email address, etc. Save it with a meaningful name and an extension of HTML, preferably in its own folder, say c:\signatures\signature01.html. Also, save any pictures you may be using in this folder. In Windows Mail, go to Tools > Options > Signatures Tab > New > File at the bottom and Browse to the full path name of your file (make sure the drop down menu points to HTML Files) then Apply/OK your way out. You can look at it offline but it is best to send an email to yourself to make sure it looks correct.

    <HTML>
    <table width= "100%" border=0 cellpadding=15 cellspacing=0>
    <TR>
    <BR><BR>
    <HR>
    <td valign=top width= "14%" align=left>
    <TABLE width= "100" border=0>
    <img src= "c:\signatures\mypic.jpg ">
    <TR><TD>
    </table>
    <td valign=top width= "86% ">
    <B><font face= "times new roman" color=blue size=5>
    Jean and William Smith</B><BR>
    <font face= "verdana, arial, helvetica" color=black size=3>

    or you can use our Hotmail, Paltalk,<BR>

    Burrwalnut:

    I certainly appreciate your prompt and courteous reply. However, I apparently asked the wrong question. What I want to do (and was able to do easily on Thunderbird) is add my HANDWRITTEN signature. I am an HTML neophyte, but it appears that you have instructed me expertly on adding a typed signature suite. Am I wrong? Can you advise?

    thanks

    Hi Chuck

    Follow Burrwalnut's instructions but change

    Code:
    <img src= "c:\signatures\mypic.jpg ">

    To point to the filename of your signature image.

    Glad we could help but all the thanks belongs to BurrWalnut.

    Thank you for the update though.
