How reliable is this feature? I just switched back to avast coz' I found out that they already have an anti spyware and anti rootkit add on so I uninstalled my spyware terminator and I'm planning of doing the same to Zone Alarm.

Network Shield is suppose to be a firewall but I'm having doubts about it. Would you consider this as your firewall protection or would you rather run another program just to be sure?

    Any comments?

Network Shield is NOT a firewall. It only scans I/O from your network [including internet]. Its not a substitute for a proper firewall.

You should always have a firewall and anti virus running at a minimum on the computer, even if you are behind a hardware/edge/network firewall.
