Using Windows Debugging tool to solve a problem?

    I run XP Pro Corporate and have found that when I try to shut down the computer, it will take approximately one to two minutes before the system completely shuts down, it use to take approx 10 seconds!
    Can I use the Windows Debugging tool to find what program, driver, dll, service, etc is causing the slow down in the computer shutting down? If so How do I use it to trouble shoot this issue?

    No, you can't. The debugging tools are for 'post mortem' analysis of (memory) dump files.

    Did you make any type of change the pc prior to this starting?

    Like - add the pc to a network/add mapped drives/add ANY type of USB device?

    The only change I made was to go from Raid to a single large drive. I found out that Ghost 14 will create an image but can not restore it, if using a raid. I confirmed that with their Tech support...When I said I didn't see that in the manual...they said...oh yea...we've meant to make note of that in future releases. Great!
