The only reason I downloaded that AIO Explorer from Major Geeks was because I thought you gave it to me to download. I was just fixing to ask you what it was for because it looks like nothing I need for what we're doing. :( I'm sorry

That self extracting link to fix the recycle bin doesn't work. It gives me a 404 Error.

Trust me, I'm not downloading ANYTHING unless you give it to me to download (and I swear I thought you gave me the Major Geeks link to download Explorer XP)

    Waiting to hear from you!

    Sin :)

    Try the link now.

No, I did not suggest AIO. No worries though. ;)

    Hi EVERYONE :)

I feel the same way that Noah does about not adding programs to my computer until it's fixed. I'm getting links and stuff from people trying to help (GOD knows I need it ;)) Anyway, please don't send me links because I'll end up downloading it and then not remember why I downloaded it or what it does to help the situation :D

I really appreciate it, I'm just a blonde stuck in a brunette's body sometimes hehe

Thanks to everyonehelping me, you just really have no idea what is means to me. I tried once before on a different forum and they just stopped helping.

Thank you for understanding. Also, even though I have a program on my computer, it doesn't mean that it's installed. I'll let you know if I have it installed or not. I'm trying to reply to everyone in a timely matter since you are taking your time to help me.

No person better leave me or I'll cry :( (teasing)

    C Ya!

    Sin

P.S. If there's anything you need, let me know and I can try and find it for you....it's the least I can do ;)

Ok - it worked that time. I'm fixing to reboot. This part takes forever lol. Also, I've been trying to install TreeSize, but the low disk error comes up and it will stop installing. Maybe I can work around it. I will see when I reboot.

sinnimon, did you download the exe link or the installer link? The exe link is a zip file that once extracted is a standalone file ..... nothing to install. It would require less disk space.

Whoever is sending advice and links via PM, please stop. That is non-helpful to others that may otherwise find help in a similar situation.

It just downloaded, I didn't get a choice of .exe or .zip. But, I did manage to install TreeSize. It's up and running, what do you want me to do now?

Nobody is sending me pm's, everyone has been extremely nice, but it gets confusing on who's sending what and I get confused. My sincerest apologies

    Assuming the main window populated with the contents of the drive, click;
    Branch>Expand>Full Expand
Now in the tree view (left pane) click the uppermost entry (C:\) once to select it.
    Now click File>Export>Save as HTML
Save it in My Documents as Tree

Now open My Documents and create a folder named Tree
Locate Tree.html and Tree.jpg, then move them to the Tree folder
Right click the Tree folder and Send it to a Compressed (Zipped) folder
Attach the zip to an email and send to me for review.

    Is Anyone Up Yet?

I guess since I get up at 4 a.m. EST , I feel like everyone else is up too :)

I haven't heard from anyone and I was/am getting worried that you think it's too much to handle :( If so, drop me a line and let me know, and trust me, no hard feelings ;)

Re: Uh, weird things happening to my computer.....

    Hey Noah :)

OK, this is really weird. I downloaded and opened Tree Size. But there is no left/right panes....there is no Branch>Expand>Full Expand (After I click on C: drive to highlight everything)

    Also, I can't find File>Export>Save as HTML

Let me give you what I have

    1. After I highlight C:, the files will then start showing up.

    2. In my "File" directory, it has (a Select Directory (b Refresh (c Print and (d exit.

I guess until I figure all that out, I can't send you anything :(

Now don't even think about leaving me here alone with this computer, no telling what it willl do :D

Ummm, I believe we're now waiting for you to send me the log, so I can review it and recommend a course of action. Remember saying this?
In effect, you've been given enough recommendations at this time. Nothing else to add until progress has been made.

Of course I remember saying that. I guess my problem is finding out how these programs work, because they aren't doing the "typical" setup per your directions for TreeSize.

What else did you need to know? Other than TreeSize

Sounds like you do not have the pro version after all. Please download a trial of the pro version here and follow my previous instructions to create a log.

Re: Uh, weird things happening to my computer.....

No, I DO have the pro version, but I told you lastnight it wouldn't completely install because whenever the "low disk on presario C" error pops up, any installations stop responding and won't finish. Let me get rid of some programs and try it again. I have the free version already downloaded. Let me uninstall that also.

Hey Noah, I've downloaded, installed, and rebooted my computer (a whole nother situation :) ) Now I'm going to look at your directions on how to get to you.

I do have a question.....do I have to post it in here? I'm sure I'll be embarassed about something in there that I don't want everyone looking at. Is this possible? To email it to you?

    Thanks!

    Sin

You might try to actually read what he suggests you do.

You could free up 14GB of free space just by deleting the following folder, then emptying the recycle bin.

    Desktop\!!ALREADY UPLOADED TO 4SHARED!!

Speaking of the recycle bin ..... is yours accessible now?

You have another 16GB you could free up by doing the same with the following folder once you get the items uploaded from there.

    Desktop\Unused Desktop Shortcuts

Another 9GB could be gotten from the Ares shared folder.

Suggest you try running TreeSize again. Make sure you have selected the root of the drive. The report I have suggests that only your profile folder was selected.

I know, I'm a goofball. These posts don't come to me in the order that they are posted, if that makes sense? :) So, I wrote that question after he posted and I didn't get it yet
