    Hi,
At work, i share a computer with 2nd shift and 3rd shift.
one of the 3rd shifters created a file, that when clicked on, opens up her previous layout.
now, she doesn't put the settings back, and it's pissing me off!!!!
i'll log on, and everything is HUGE because, apparently, she is as blind as a bat.
best way i can describe this case is, everything!!! windows, desktop icons, text within the windows...are all HUGE!!
so then i have to go through and mess with the settings until i get everything back to the way i like it, witch ends up resulting in 30 minutes of down time.
now, i know she has an MS-DOS file saved on her desktop which allows her to go back to her settings, whenever i change them back to my settings.
but i don't know how!!! now, i'd ask the help desk dude....but i hate him too. he's the brother of the girl who's making everything HUGE!!!!!

Why don't you ask her how she did it?

Oh, I see. Just wondering how your colleagues feel about you.

Seriously it's likely to be a registry file, but since this is a work environment I have no idea what rights you have, but then again if it were seperate users you wouldn't have these issues.

Perhaps you should put your differences aside, be nice and ask the help desk dude to set up your own account?

I've got the rights to do it. i know i do.

nobody....NOBODY!!!!...likes to go to this guy for help.

this guy, is in his late 40's.
half bald, and the parts that show his scalp....is peeling. and hits on the 18-25 year olds (who are grossed out by this action) you'd have to see the dude, and know the dude, to understand why we hate the dude!!!
his sister....i swear she thinks she's a southern black women. because she talks just like that!! and has even said she is black. she's whiter than all hell and was born and raised here in San Diego, CA!! she's also going bald! just as annoying as her brother.
they have another brother....who's normal. and cool. and every likes that guy!
BUT WE ALL HATE THE OTHER TWO!!!!

my work area.....is very similar to Office Space.

If you know you have the rights then you should know how to use them.

It's probably best if you don't introduce your personal life/feelings in a public forum...

My advice, calm down a little and get back to us.

Very good advice! I'd like to add that it would be a good time to edit your previous posts so that they center around the task rather than your personal feelings for your fellow employees.

What is the name of the file your co-worker has on the desktop to change her settings?
