Windows Vista What happens after the kb940150/940510?

Just curious on those people who got this update but were on the dark side. They got a pop up then what happen next?

I heard that their system will shut down or needs to re-activate again. but a friend of mine was in the dark side and had the update and then his life still continues.

I want to ask what kb940150/940510 really do to your system


This update is the one that detects software that bypasses windows vista activation.

Of course, we are all genuine users here, am i right?

im just curious and so my friend is also curious.

PS: I'll be giving him a genuine vista home premium this christmas. that way, i can delete his infested vista

 

So it will remove the pest? I sure hope Microsoft will do a little more than this, isnt it?
