Missing dll file for win98

I am using windows98 2nd.When I log on,I get a error telling me c\progra-1\mywebs-1\bar\1.bin\mwsbar.dll is missing.I know nothing about computers.Can someoone please help me?

It looks like it might be part of MyWebSearch.

MyWebSearch is malware and should be removed.

You should download and scan with HijackThis then post the log in the Malware and Virus Removal section of the forums.

I ran a scan with hijack and fixed(removed) the files that were creating the problem.I then rebooted.I never would of thougt of this.

 

You should post the original HijackThis log in Malware and Virus Removal for the experts to look at. You may have more problems and not know it. MyWebSearch can integrate itself throughout the system.

Why would someone want to redownload a malware file?

 

My opinion of dll-files.com just went way down. There is no valid reason for them to offer it.
