OE6 accounts dissappeared

Luckily, nothing i couldnt fix and redownload (i had to refill in the wizard - pain in the butt)... but still... why the heck did this happen? i dont have any viruses or anything... what the heck????? this isnt the first time either



edit 1: ookkkk... and on the desktop, My Comp, My Docs, and My Net Places dissappeared.

what the heck keeps doing this?!?!

edit 2kk... after a restart, whatever it was also changed my layout to windows classic style teal from windows XP style blue.

what the heck is going on??

ive since fixed everything but id like to know what the heck is going on.

edit 3: it also restored my battery and plug settings (when to shut down/stand by etc) to default
what the heck??!?!?!?!?!? getting a little frusterating as im sure you can tell

edit 4: the cherry on top of a wonderful computer day... whatever it is also ******* with my "what to do when i push the sleep button" setting, and the power button setting in the same area.


Ive had this happen before but never this bad.

what in the world has caused all of this????? I never reset any defaults or anything!!! Adn i scan for spyware daily!
