Excel files automatically goes to recovery mode

    hi

    i have an MS-OFFICE 2003 installed on my system.The problem is that when i opening Excel files it automatically goes to recovery mode and then exits. I checked all the excel files it is not more than 3MB and also i checked the event log it is showing me Event id : 1000 (Faulting application excel.exe version 11.0.8211.0 stamp 47dcb10b faulting module es2opsui.dll, version 2.7.38.0,stamp 449b258c,debug 7.0 fault address 0*000677c7.Even i replaced the 1GB of RAM and also i have installed latest updates of MS-OFFICE 2003 but still this problem occurs

    Anyone who can help will be appreciated

    es2opsui.dll would appear to be part of the printer driver for a Toshiba e-Studio printer - do you have such a device?

    If so uninstalling the printer and reinstalling may solve the problem.

    What OS are you running.

    From what I've found, that appears to be part of a Toshiba e-Studio driver for either WinME/98 or Win2K.

    That might work on XP, but I'd expect to see some serious issues if you're running Vista.

    yes i have toshiba printer installed on the system but it is also installed on other systems they are working fine only in this system excel is not working

    I would reinstall the Toshibs printer software on the system - there may be corruption in that install which is not presaent in your other systems.
