    hello,

I have a problem with my pc, which couldnt find a solution for it.

sometimes the computer cannot run any new programs anymore, mouse right click on programs doesnt work, even in IE 7.0, the new tab is not working,
it seems there is no memory left for new jobs.
I can just close the programs.
after closing one program, I can run only one new program. and so on.
its a random manner, I have experienced in 2 computers,
one with XP SP2, and another with 2003 Server.
both computers have the same core 2 duo cpu.
Disk Cheking, Defragment, Re-Installing OS, none of them work for the problem.

Is there any suggestions or comments?
    Thanks.

    Hi mGolkar,

What are the other specs? RAM etc. What antivirus are you using? How many programs are running in background? Everything impacts system performance. Require more information to guide you.

    well,

I have this problem on 2 different computers, which have a same cpu of intel core 2 duo E6400

    both have 2GB Ram,
one with Server2003 , has a lot of proccess which first I assumed this lack of resources is something natural for this system, while it is print server, file server, web server and AD installed.

but the XP SP2 System is just a normal desktop pc , with a home user jobs on it.

    I have nod32 for both.
I 've just re-installed the xp sp2 again, with just a few applications like adobe cs3, , but it has the problem again.
I've never seen this before, while I worked with network and more than 200 XP SP2 computers, most of them with same configuration.

I thought it is maybe a hardware problem, but everything was fine, the Cooling fans are working fine, and because of the same cpu, I was wondering if this is a cpu issue, but I couldnt find any reported thing about it.
