Looks like you're running pretty lean at start up. Don't see anything you should stop.

You might think of getting rid of WildTangent, they are kind of known for spyware. (But it is your Choice)

Delete HP Games in Control pannel > programs and Features

Then delete this folder.
C:\Program Files\HP Games

Then fix this in HJT.

Now close all windows other than HiJackThis, then click Fix Checked.

Close HJT.

Everthing looks OK.

thanks geri, everything seems to run pretty good, but at times kinda slow.
I just wanted to see if there was anything fishy with my startup.
I'd delete the hp games, but I really want to keep chess. dont ask why, but I'm on a chess kick for some reason lol.....
I went ahead and deleted the wild tangent thing from the list. I didnt see it under add and remove programs tho.

That's not a problem, wild tangent just seems to want to know your surfing habbits, that way they can target advertisements in that area.

That could be the security apps scanning stuff, I would rather have a slowdown once in a while then to pick up garbage.
