After following the instructions HERE to resolve an ongoing problem, I installed the update suggested. The update did nothing in the direction of helping in any way, so I removed it.

Ever since I've gotten runtime errors.

    Runtime Error!

    Program: CL\Program Files\mIRC\mirc.exe

    R6034
An application has made an attempt to load the C runtime library incorrectly.
Please contact the application's support team for more information.

It is NOTHING to do with that program which has been on this computer for so long it's not funny. It happens with the game I'm trying to install too, but the error message disappears before I see it :(
Not that the game makes any difference but it is "The Movies ". I'm sure it would do the same thing with my "The Sims" game too.

    So I reinstalled the update...

    but that didn't help :(.
I dunno what to do...I don't even know what a runtime library is

    Hi Alundra

The VB Runtimes are needed by many programs. Spy/Aware sometimes attach delete or damage these files. So malware cleanup can get rid of some of these files if malware has attached or damaged it.

Other repair procedures can also remove some of these files sometimes.

So yes you were correct it is not the program that is bad but that program needs VB rutimes.

Go here. Download and run this file it will reinstall the latest VB6 and therefore replace missing files.

This should fix your issue, if not get back to us.

I seem to have fixed them...apparently apache2triad was the cause. I think I'll go back to xampp.

Thanks for your fast reply :D!
