My System

My computer chirps like a bird

Hi,
Today my computer is constantly chirping like a bird, I don't think I have changed anything.
I am running XP Pro. The noise does not seem linked to any keystrokes.
Thanks,
Lewis

My System
Could it be a Magicjack, I just started one today?

Possibly, I don't use it myself but it does match your description.

I suggest you look at the help file/manual/readme for instructions

Well I finaly ended my conversation with Magicjack.
I have uninstalled Magicjack but the chirping is still there. Magicjack was just a coincidence.
The chirping happens about every 66 seconds.
Any ideas
Lewis

Not a clue, as I said I don't use the service and I thought it may be a voice message/missed call alert.

Try a system restore to a time before you encountered the problem.

My System
Hi,
The chirping has stopped, it must have been caused by Magicjack.
Thanks,
Lewis
