Windows XP on Dell XPS M1530

    Hi.
    I am trying to use Windows XP pro on my Dell XPS M1530. I have installed the OS no probs but now need to install all the drivers. I understand that the first step is the support for AHCI SATA mode? I have switched it to ATA in the Bios and disabled Flash Cache in order for me to then re install OS and install the AHCI driver but this is where I am stuck, I get an error message that informs me my system does not meet the minimum requirements?
    Any help on this and anything else I need to do to get this sorted would be brilliant.

    This is not as surpring as it may seem - Dell do not supply drivers for XP, only Vista .....

    I doubt the hardware is compatible - as the message effectively states.

    Thanks for replying! I did google and I found the link that you supplied but the 2 xp hardware driver links are dead, I will keep searching, thanks for the help.
